Everything at the Jorvik Viking Festival was good.
I did a little digging to find Viking treasures.
I watched and played The Viking Game [edit from Mum – The game is called Hnefatafl]. It is a bit like chess, but there are attackers and defenders.
But my most favourite thing to do was Sword Fighting class. We learnt to advance and retreat, and use shields and swords.
We also saw spears, swords, bow and arrows, knives, helmets and chain mail vests.
