Asia is without a doubt one of the cheaper places to travel for families. It has lower cost accommodation and food. If you are from Australia, it is the closest of the continents – which means it is cheaper to fly to.
We haven’t travelled there much yet, although we do plan to.
Dubai
The one destination that most travellers have in common when talking about Asia is Dubai. If you are flying from Australia to almost anywhere, you will probably cross paths with Dubai at some point.
We have spent a bit of time there – using it has a haven to rest between long haul flights. It is flashy and shiny and ancient and new. We really like it there. It fascinates us.
